CCSD ParentVUE and Schedules Update
This summer, we converted our student information system and launched a new platform called Synergy in preparation for the 2024-25 school year. Synergy offers families a ParentVUE website and app that provides greater access to their children’s emergency contacts and attendance information.
ParentVUE requires that all families activate a ParentVUE account as we prepare for the start of this school year. To date, nearly 30 percent of CCSD parents have successfully activated an account, and we will be sending a second activation email to any parent that has not yet had the opportunity to complete this process.
Below is a summary of next steps as we ensure all families are able to successfully activate an account and complete the “first-day forms” as we get ready for the start of school.
Parents who have NOT yet activated a ParentVUE account
• Parents who have NOT yet activated a ParentVUE account will receive a second activation email on Thursday, July 18. This email will be from “synergy.noreply@cherokeek12.net” with the subject line: “Cherokee County School District – ParentVUE Activation for Synergy.”
Completing “First-Day Forms” once your ParentVUE Account is Activated
• Completing “first-day forms,” including updating your child’s emergency contacts, is a critically important process. We ask that you complete this process as soon as possible. Once your ParentVUE account is active, you will access these online forms by clicking the “Student Enrollment or Current Student Verification” link under your child's name in ParentVUE. For parents of current students, to move past the Documents page in the forms, please click all the boxes for “No changes or I will deliver a hard copy to the school instead of uploading it.” Parents of current students do not need to submit documents unless they have changes to report (new address, new custody agreement, new medical forms, etc.) -- clicking these boxes is required, due to the system set-up, to complete the verification process; the documents only are required for enrollment of students new to CCSD this school year.
Questions or Concerns
As is common with all technical migrations and updates, some families may experience a difficulty or error in the process. Below are several Frequently Asked Questions and guidance should you experience a problem.
• If you have activated your ParentVUE account and find one or more of your children is not linked in your ParentVUE, please email our Technology helpdesk at enrollment.support@cherokee.incidentiq.com.
• If you have submitted a helpdesk ticket, it is in queue to be processed as quickly as possible, and duplicate submissions are not required.
• Student schedules and teacher names will be viewable by the end of the day on July 25. While our early communication was that we would provide this access earlier, this date has been shifted to give parents more time to activate their ParentVUE account and position schools to complete final reviews of schedules.
