CCSD Will Celebrate Graduation Next Week!
Cherokee County School District’s Class of 2024 will walk across the stage for graduation ceremonies next week!
The ceremonies for CCSD’s 3,100 graduating seniors will be held at First Baptist Church of Woodstock (11905 Highway 92, Woodstock, 30188). There is no limit on guests. Ceremonies will be streamed on www.fbcw.org so family and friends who are unable to attend still can participate.

Thursday, May 23, 4 p.m. Etowah High School
Thursday, May 23, 8 p.m. Creekview High School
Friday, May 24, 4 p.m. Cherokee High School
Friday, May 24, 8 p.m. River Ridge High School
Saturday, May 25, 9 a.m. Woodstock High School
Saturday, May 25, 1 p.m. Sequoyah High School
Please be advised that there will be additional traffic in the area of First Baptist Woodstock beginning on Wednesday for graduation practices and very heavy traffic in the area before and after the ceremonies. Thank you to the CCSD Police Department, Woodstock Police Department and Cherokee Sheriff’s Office for their efforts to assist with traffic and keep everyone safe.
Traffic flow patterns also will be impacted districtwide next week due to high school finals schedules, as well as early release for middle and high school students on Friday, May 24, the last day of school. Elementary schools will dismiss on their regular schedule on Friday, May 24; After School Program will not be offered.
